Raining stars

stars rising just before dawn at Nuh, Harayana. this is a photograph totalling an exposure of around two and a half hours. below is a different way of seeing the same two and a half hours.
shortlisted in the Greenwich Astronomy Photographer of the year 2009.

Incredible photos, both of people and the heavens.

Like the lightening photo over Delhi. I've played around with long exposures a little bit, but it's hard to do that in Delhi. Light pollution, dusty skies etc.

Thanks Saad. Love your comics. Yeah, Delhi is a disaster for long exposure night photography. Try some darker locations away from big cities.
